Eye liner and mascara are two chums that every woman should strive to make friends with. Eye liner and mascara, if properly applied, constitute a competition phase of make-up process. If a woman knows the secrets of eye liner and mascara use, she knows how to bring her eye make-up to perfection. You are welcome to consider some of these secrets below:

• Eye Liner and Mascara. Secret # 1. First, apply eye liner, then apply mascara. Remember, that mascara is the final touch; it is applied when the rest of eye make-up has already been done. When you apply eye liner after mascara, you may damage your lashes and they won’t look as beautiful as they did when mascara has been just applied.
• Eye Liner and Mascara. Secret # 2. Try to choose eye liner and mascara that go well together. For colored mascara use colored eye liner, i.e. blue, green; for black, grey or brown mascara use black, grey, brown or dark blue eye liner.
• Eye Liner and Mascara. Secret # 3. For day make-up, apply drab or brown eye liner (if there is a need in it) and brown mascara. For evening make-up, apply either colored eye liner – blue, green – or a black one and blue, dark blue, violet and black mascara.

Please, note that eye liner attracts attention to the eye form if it is gently applied, if your eye liner is too dark or the line is too thick, your eyes will look purblind. Do not try to create a new form of your eyes with the help of eye liner. Just follow the natural line of superior eyelid, as near to eyelashes, as you can. You can also apply eye liner to inferior eyelid drawing a line just on eyelashes. The line should be very thin and well-defined, make sure you leave the upper tails of your eyes untouched.

If you decided to apply a blue eye liner on the lashes of inferior eyelid (for evening make-up), pull the eyelid slightly down and draw the line just on the eyelid edge (Try not to touch conjunctiva to avoid irritation). This will make your whites bright and your eyes will look shining.

As for mascara, apply it both for upper and lower eyelashes. Applicator does not only apply mascara on the lashes, also, it combs them, thus, if you use applicator for curling, your eyelashes will never look stuck together.

Start applying eyelashes mascara with upper eyelashes. Let them dry up, then take care of lower eyelashes. Further, comb your eyelashes with applicator, curling them at a go. When eyelashes dry up, apply mascara for upper eyelashes once again. Make sure you comb eyelashes when they finally dry up.
